The Russian start-up airline Avianova launched an saucy advertising campaign showing bikini-clad flight attendants washing planes. Secretary of the Flight Attendants Association of Australia Jo-Ann Davidson said raunchy ads are offensive and place cabin crew at risk.
“This type of provocative advertising using cabin crew in this light is not tolerated in Australia and should not be acceptable anywhere else,” Ms Davidson said. Read more…
New Japan Airlines (JAL) uniforms have long been in demand in the local sex industry for customers keen on role-playing fantasies, while rare specimens that have actually been worn are hugely sought after by fetishists and are worth their weight in gold.
While many shops sell credible copies for under £100, genuine JAL uniforms can reach a fortune if sold on the black market. Historically, says Yu Teramoto, the owner of a specialist costumier in the Akihabara district of Tokyo, real JAL outfits have been virtually impossible for buyers to lay their hands on. The Air France flight 447, which crashed on 1 June, killing all 228 aboard. The complete list of passengers was not yet published. But we know the names of two stewardesses. The head of the cabin crew was Anne Grimout of Ermenonville, France, a 49-year-old who had worked for Air France for nearly 25 years.

A 32 year old Malaga woman was working as a stewardess on the Air France flight 447. Clara Mar Amado was born in Malaga to Argentinean parents and had dual nationality, although was registered in Air France records as being Spanish.
There was no immediate information on the other stewardesses.
